ContiTech Concludes Acquisition of Veyance Technologies (Goodyear Engineered Products)

 

As from the 31st of January 2015, the business of Veyance Technologies (Goodyear Engineered Products) was acquired by Continental and will now become part of ContiTech AG.

The Goodyear products you currently purchase will be manufactured by the same people, in the same plants, to the same specification and at the same high standards. However, they will henceforth be branded ‘ContiTech’ in place of the traditional Goodyear name.

Unfortunately, certain Goodyear trademarked sub-brands will not be transferred to ContiTech and these will be replaced with new brands, as follows:

 

HORIZON – FRONTIER

EXPLORER AIR – PROSPECTOR AIR

GEMINI – TWINLINE

WINGFOOT – VARIFLEX

ULTRAGRIP – FLEXAGRIP
